We are a friendly and flexible family with two bilingual boys speaking both English and Estonian. We love to be outdoors, to hike and visit near-by parks and other attractions. We also try to live as environmentally sustainably as we can. Bristol is a lovely city (Tallinna suurune!), voted the best place to live by many such surveys, and we (mostly) agree :) As a family we are very welcoming and our au pairs have become very close to us, able to share their joys and worries.
We are hoping to find a caring and considerate Estonian speaking person to work as a live-in au pair, who can establish a warm relationship with the children. S/he will take the children to school and back and occasionally care for them through the day and night when the parents are away on longer appointments (not exceeding 4 nights). The au pair is expected to do the household chores and help with some of the cooking. Overall, she or he will have plenty of free time - to study or pursue a hobby etc. and we are happy to accommodate such wishes as much as possible. As keeping the boys' Estonian as good as possible is very important to us, we hope the au pair would happily chat to the children in Estonian and read to them/sing with them or engage them in the language in other ways.
