I would like to find an au pair who has a good understanding of young children and who would be happy to muck in with our daily life which is one of country living and animals (horses, dogs, chickens and our newly acquired tortoises). I run a busy but relaxed house and work from home. My au pair will have the top floor of the house which comprises double bedroom, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. This is not intended to exclude her from the rest of the house but rather to offer her some space and privacy. We also have a very large garden which is easy to get lost in and, in the summer, derive much enjoyment from swimming and playing tennis at home, amongst other things.
I'm looking for a conscientious and fun loving person to help out with my 9 year old twins (1 girl, 1 boy). Duties would include all aspects of childcare, keeping the childrens' rooms clean and tidy, ironing, occasionally driving the children to and fro school (hence competent driver required, feeding the dogs and chickens from time to time, help with keeping the house up together too (although most of the housework will be done by my cleaner who comes in twice a week). This role would best suit someone who loves the great outdoors and has a keen and enthusiastic nature.
