I have just moved to Durham with my daughter, who will be 5 in December. I am a single parent. I am British but grew up in France, I also lived in Portugal for a while, so I am very interested in meeting people from all over the world. I am a university lecturer. I am looking for a cheery and caring person, who loves children, who is interested in discovering a new environment, language and culture.
I am looking for an au pair who would be willing to take on some childcare (two to three school pickups and one or two evenings a week) and do some light housework. Days in the week would be mostly free, as well as weekends every two weeks when my daughter is with her father. Some travelling might be involved if the au pair was interested (all travel costs covered).
