We are a family of four - American dad, Swedish mom, 3 year old son and 3 month old daughter. Dad works from home sometimes and travels around Europe as well. Mom is a doctor who is currently on maternity leave for most of the next 10 months, working a few days here and there. We are looking for an experienced au pair to be part of our family - sharing the fun and the work. We need help taking care of the kids and with some housework (cleaning, laundry, cooking a few nights a week). We like to think of ourselves as flexible and fair. Mom would be home most days of the week but not every day. We live in Lund, a university town with lots of international people and lots to do!
Prepare breakfast in the morning and clean up after, help clean the house twice a week (vacuum, mop, dust), help mom watch the baby during the day and while she is sometimes out food shopping, etc. and play with the 3 year old when he comes home from daycare at 2pm. When the baby is 1 year old mom will work 1-2 days per week, so watching the baby all day during those days is part of the au pair's responsibilities. Help with cooking dinners.
