We are looking for an Au pair to look after our two children Jacob 8, Esther 6 and our dog Billy. We live in a beautiful town called Tunbridge Wells (55 minutes by train from London.) Jacob and Esther both go to school during the day, in the afternoon they have activities and playdates. Jacob likes to play with Lego, draw, jump on the trampoline, play tennis, football, cook/bake and playing X-box. Esther likes anything pink, fluffy toys, dolls, craft, dressing up, ponies and cooking. Billy the dog, likes cuddles, long walks, chasing birds and muddy puddles. I'm Swedish and Paul is British so the children are bi lingual. Tunbridge wells is a lovely old spa town with plenty of cafe, bars and restaurants. There are a lot of other au -pairs in the area. (there is a big Spanish au pair community)We have had 6 au pairs before and they are all part of our family. We would like to find an au pair that loves children and dogs. It's a bonus if you are interested in art, craft and cooking. As the children are in school it's important that the au pair speaks good english and can help them with their homework (maths, writing, art etc.) Non smoker only. The au pair will have her own room and bathroom.
Paul and I both working in advertising so the Au pair need to be responsible and independent during the day. There will be light house work, loading the washing machine, picking up toys, cooking and washing up etc. This job suits someone that wants to study english as there's a lot of free time during the day. We have a cleaning lady that comes twice a week so there's very little house work. You must love children and dogs. A normal day would look like this. Morning: Get the kids ready for school, give them breakfast. Walk them to school (we live opposite the school, 2 min walk) Take Billy for a walk From around 9.30: Freetime (for studying, relaxing etc) 3.30 collect Esther from school Play time, prepare dinner with Esther 5.30 Pick up Jacob from school Dinner, homework playtime 6.30 Bathtime 7.15-8.00 Bedtime story/go to bed.
