We are a professional couple living in North London. We have been married for 5 years and have a 3.5 year old boy and a boy under the age of 1 when we come to need Nanny. We live in a house with plenty of space and have a spare room for a Nanny to live with us. I am English and my wife is originally from Bulgaria. We are very keen for our sons to also learn to speak Bulgarian. They currently speak English only. Our jobs are quite busy and we both work full time and can be away from the house for long hours, which is why we need live-in child carer. We are a close-knit family, who love to have fun together on trips outdoors and travelling abroad. We are easy going and friendly.
The Nanny's job would be to ensure the oldest son gets on the school bus in the morning on weekedays. Then she would look after the baby during the day. She would then need to pick the eldest son up from school. It is therefore essential that the Nanny can drive and has a driving licence - we will provide a car and insurance. The Nanny will also need to be able to provide dinner and bath and prepare the children for bed. Ideally, the Nanny would speak reasonable English so as to be able to get around as necessary. We are hoping to find somebody from the ages of 26 to 45 with childcare experience and who enjoys spending time with children and is imaginitive,creative and loving. We would expect the Nanny to help with basic house work (for example, wash kids clothes, cook for the kids) but are looking for a Nanny to primarily be a child care provider and not a house keeper - the house already has a cleaner that helps weekly. The Nanny's job will be 5 days a week from the hours of 8.30 in the morning to 6.30 in the evening. We do not generally nneed help over the weekend, although it would be really helpful if the Nanny could work one weekend day a month. Pay to be negotiated depending on the Nanny's experience.
