Our two children (Twins, boy and girl) love to play and are always laughing. My husband and I work in London and leave early every morning. We live in a large five bedroomed house so an au pair would have their own bedroom and ensuite bathroom facilities, cable TV and access to the local Gym with the kids for swimming etc. You will need a full manual driving license as the children will need to be driven and collected from school (5 minutes away). The house is located in a town which is 30 minutes by train from the City Centre of London with trains running every 10 minutes and the station is 10 minutes walk away.
To get the children to school in the morning and collect them in the afternoon. Some light housekeeping duties required such as cooking for the children, doing their laundry and keeping their room clean. We have a cleaner so it is unusual cleaning duties outside of those associated with the children would be required. Occasionally we would expect the au pair to baby sit for one night during a weekend but this is expected to be the exception and not the rule.
