I am currently studying an MA in film and spend half my time in Deal and half in London. I moved to Deal to give my son a chance to have a life by the sea rather than living in the city. We also have a house in London but spend most of our time by the sea. We are a creative family looking for someone who is open, versatile and fun. I am looking for someone who can imaginatively engage with my son, who has a creative, free and friendly spirit. Manners and respect are key principles to his upbringing. Positivity and patience are key factors I am looking for. Also someone who has a mature and responsible outlook and calm disposition. You would become party of the family, but also you would have a fair amount of spare time on your hands as Gabriel is nearly 9 and I am a hands on Mum. Also every other weekend Gabriel goes to London to stay with his father. Gabriel is half English and half Brazilian and this can be seen in his funny, quirky and sunny personality.
The Job is more a Girl Friday I am looking for someone who can drive so they are able to take and pick up my son from his school. There is also the option to take him by train but still be able to drive. The main child care would be to look after my son 1-2 mornings/nights a week while I have to work in London. The rest of the week save the school run I would take care of him, save the odd night baby sitting. This means you would have 9-3 everyday free. As well as every weekend and 3 out of 5 weekday evenings free. We also have a house in London, but aim to spend most of our time in Deal, Kent.
