My husband is an Army Officer and I am a German Vet. We are living is a nice Army Quarter with our adorable son George (3 years old) and baby Felix (1 year old), 2 dogs, 2 cats and 7 horses in Dorset (lovely part of England). We are a bubbly, active family and we love the nature. I am working every day from 9-14 o'clock and every other Sunday as a Vet in a small animal vet practice - AND that is why we are looking for an Au Pair. We are living in a very quiet & rural area. To explore the area you have to take the bus, train or the bike - if you are an experienced driver we may consider providing you with a car which you can use in your free time as well to be able to visit other Au pairs and to explore the area a little bit.
We are looking for an experienced Au pair around 25 years (and older). You should be a happy, motivated, honest, friendly, independent and responsible young lady who would love to spend time with our little boys. You should be willing to do 'nursery duties' like cooking / warming up pre-cooked food and tiding up after the boys. You have to keep the kitchen clean & tidy and to hoover (vacuum) daily. IDEALLY you should be able to speak a little German because we are bringing our sons up bilingual and you have to be able to read him German stories or sing German nursery rhymes with them. You should not be afraid of animals and you should be a non smoker. If you are interested in horses, good for you, because we have 7 of them and in your spare time you can go out for a ride with them or maybe even learn to play a bit of Polo in the summer.
