We are a warm, easygoing and generous family living in a lovely town in New Jersey, about 30 minutes from Manhattan. We have two sweet little ones, a one-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy, who are both in school during the day. We want our au pair to feel comfortable, welcomed and part of the family. You will have your own private room, bathroom and living area, so you can enjoy your own space and privacy. We also have a car available and would ideally love someone who drives, although we are open to someone who doesn’t. Our schedule is mainly focused on helping with the kids in the mornings and evenings, so there is plenty of time during the day for your own activities. We are flexible, relaxed parents who believe in treating people well, being respectful and making sure everyone is happy. As long as the kids are well cared for and responsibilities are taken care of, we are happy to be flexible and work together to find a routine that works for everyone. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, can build a real connection with them, and has previous childcare experience. We hope to find someone who will feel at home with us, enjoy their time in the US, and become a positive part of our family!
