My name is Isoken and I live with my husband and our two children Summer (10) and Ekpen (8). My husband and I are both nurses. We live in London United kingdom, it is a very vibrant community with people from about every country in the world. Summer and Ekpen are both in primary school. My husband and I work shifts : days, nights and weekends.
I will expect our au pair to primarily look after (babysit) the children, get them ready for school on time for the school bus to pick them up. Our au pair will be expected to do some cleaning around the house, prepare meals for the children (mostly breakfast) and also help with the chilren's laundry. Ideally, we would like our au pair to teach and supervise the children how to do things for themselves like taking their own bath properly and tidying up their bedroom. I work shifts patterns which includes days nights and weekends. I would like our au pair to be flexible and work with us to come to an amicable work pattern which works for us and works for them. Our au pair is encouraged to have a social life, go out and experience the culture and enjoy all that London has to offer. We are open to ideas and suggestions and welcome inputs that everyone is happy with. If our au pair is not available to work on a scheduled day, we only ask to be given some notice and we will work around it.
