HELLO there, We are the Sears family! We are currently have an au pair who we love, she is part of the family! She's been with us for almost 2 years but she needs to go back home this summer. We are now looking for a new au pair to start at the beginning of September ... we want some one who is friendly, hardworking and flexible. In return we will make sure you feel very at home in our lively, loving and busy house. Oh and there are plenty of other au pairs who live locally to us who we can introduce you to - so you will have friends from the beginning! We are a friendly BUSY house .... there is often lots going on and thats the way we like it! Mat, my husband, works full time in London and commutes every day. I work part time and need extra help with the kids when I am working. And we have 3 kids, a boy called Sam (8yrs) who LOVES football, a girl called Josie (5yrs) who LOVES dancing and singing and of course DRAWING and another little girl called Polly (2yrs) who is almost always SO happy! Oh and we also have a new puppy dog, called Jago ,... and he is the most cheeky of all the family! In terms of our parenting style: - We are relaxed and loving parents. - We thoroughly love and enjoy our kids - although find them exhausting! - We do have strict rules for our kids to ensure good behaviour as much as poss but we generally encourage our kids to be interested in their surroundings, in people and in new things.
For this to work with our family, we need: - someone who is flexible and not always thinking they are "working" (can offer more help one day/ week and less the next) - someone with initiative (i.e a girl who is independent, and can think for herself) - someone who likes playing / entertaining and being the kids - Someone who likes to educate - teach to write, draw, speak other language, basic maths etc - Someone who is happy to clean up and tidying up after children - someone friendly, warm and wants to be part of our family All in all, someone who wants to help make our lives easier !!!
