Hi, there are 3 of us in our family, Sue, Eve and Hayden. We have two black cats Ben and Jerry. We live In a village in Hampshire, close to Southampton. Eve is 12 and Hayden is 10. Our current Au Pair is leaving us in July to go back to Spain, we have really enjoyed sharing our home with her, and are now looking for someone new to come and join us from September The reason we need an au pair is so that Eve and Hayden have an adult in the house when mum is at work. We live in a village close to the countryside and the city of Southampton. We are about to move house so will be in walking distace of a train station with direct trains to London. I work Monday to Friday about 1/2 hour away from home, I am a IT Project Manager. I run a local Girl Guide unit attending meetings once a week. I enjoy baking, cake decorating and going on walks around the local countryside. Eve is 12 and goes to secondary school in Portsmouth, she travels to school by train each day. Eve hobbies include dance classes, art, reading and photography. She is due to take a Tap and Jazz exam in July. Hayden goes to the local primary school, he goes to horse riding and swimming lessons once a week, he is a cub scout and likes to play on his xbox with his friends.
We would like an au pair to come and be part of our family, we have had fun helping out current au pair learn english and learn about living in England. Monday to Friday: You will take and collect Hayden from school Cook the evening meal Sometimes take the children to activities Sometimes help with homework, Eve is learning Spanish. We share all the house work but we would like you to help, so there will be light house work, washing up and cleaning to do. At least one evening in the week be at home for the children You will have time in the day to attend college and do any study work You must have a full driving licence valid for minimum 3 years You will have a car to use during the week and weekends, which can also be used for your own travel. We provide a mobile phone and a monthly allowance to pay for the phone bills You will have most weekends free, occasional weekend help will be needed, but will be agreed in advance. Our current au pair has attended language course at the local college. The college has a number of English Langague courses available, it is a great place to meet new friends.
