We are a professional family with two young daughters. We live in the beautiful Cornish countryside, not far from the university and maritime city of Plymouth. We are looking for au pair who can start with us from late August 2017. We looking for an au pair to share our family life and values in our new home as well as offer support with our two young daughters. We are a very active outdoor family with a range of interests but primarily we enjoy walking, cycling and spending time on the beach. We would expect our au pair to help with breakfast preparation and join us for the meal. The au pair will help dress and organise the children for the day. Sometimes our au pair may accompany us to groups and classes including swimming and forest school or take our elder daughter to preschool. On other days our au pair will help with light household duties such as laundry, vacuuming, dusting, tidying or food preparation. We may ask our au pair to babysit in the evening. Generally we would expect our au pair to join us for family meals. Our au pair will have the opportunity to attend a paediatric first aid course. We will facilitate our au pair attending language classes in Plymouth where there are a number of good language schools. Our au pair will work 30 hours a week, with some sole charge of our 2 year old daughter but only very occasional babysitting in the evening for the two girls together. Our au pair will have one whole day off a week and may have the opportunity to accompany us on day trips or longer trips away. Occasionally there will be the opportunity to have a whole weekend free to allow travel. We will offer pocket money of £75 a week in addition to board and lodging. Our closest city Plymouth offers a range of shops, cafes, restaurants, a cinema, museums and theatres as well as being recognised internationally for having a number of good language schools. It is easily accessed by car or bus.
