We are a French/Irish family living in Chislehurst in the UK (about 25 minute train ride from central London in the south east). We are seeking a responsible and active AuPair to join our family and look after our 2 little boys. We have had several AuPairs living with us before. Our 2 children are aged 2 and 6, the 6 year old attends school every day from 9am – 3pm and the school is in walking distance (15 minutes). Our 2 year old is an active little boy and attends toddler activity groups locally on some weekday mornings. We live in a large and modern house (300 square meters) with a garden, and there is a park with a playground opposite the house. The house is 2 minutes from the local high street that is filled with cafes, shops and restaurants. There are plenty of local bus routes and a train station. Your room is in fact a studio of 30m2 on the top floor featuring a double bed, walk in-wardrobe, couch, TV with Netflix and Amazon video, desk, Computer and your own bathroom. This ensures your owns private space in the evenings, weekends etc. We have a very fast Internet connection at home (100 Mega) and also provide a smatphone that includes a 4Gb data monthly allowance and unlimited calls in the UK for free.
*** We do not accept smokers *** Typical wk is Monday to Friday, 7am – 6/6.30pm (depending on traffic) - Prepare and feed the children breakfast, lunch and dinner - Dress them in the morning, and walk to school on time - Collect from school at 3pm, or 4pm if there are after-school clubs - Attend local playgroups with 2 year old (eg. at local library) – these are in walking distance - During the day with the 2 year old - playtime, outdoor activities in the garden/park/playground prepare for daily nap - Do childrens laundry during the week - Keep downstairs childrens area clean and tidy : kitchen, playroom, hall area and living room - Organise play dates as appropriate, get to know the other school Mums/nannies and teachers - Sometimes do bath time after dinner and put the children to bed after reading a bedtime story
