We leave in a village called Bean, near Dartford in Kent. UK. Your time would be split between two families who live in the same village, and will have care of a 5 year old boy and two 8 year old girls, all of whom are at school full time. I (Sabina) will be starting a new job in September as a school teacher, my husband (Bill) works long hours in London. We have Olivia (8) and Jack (5). You would also look after Isabella (8) and her parents (John & Lisa) run their own security business from home. For someone with excellent English, there is the possibility you may be able to do some office work for them too. You would live with Lisa and John, but travel between the two houses as required (just a 5 minute walk away). Lisa & John have 2 husky dogs, and we have a mini Jack Russell, so you must be happy to be around dogs too.
All children are at school full time, so your main duty will be to take them to and from school each day, so good experience with driving is a must. There are some days where the children have after school clubs, and you will be responsible for taking them to their clubs too. On days where there are no clubs, you will need to look after the children until I (Sabina) get home from work. You will also be required on some days of the school holidays to look after the children when they are not at school. Weekends and most school holidays are you own to have time to yourself. We can help with any classes you would like to take, perhaps during the day whilst the children are at school, and we would love for you to teach/ speak to the children in your native language. Both families are very flexible, and wish to welcome you as a member of both of our families!
