We are a professional and friendly couple looking for a caring, responsible and experienced au-pair to care for our two young sons – a 4-year old and a 15-month old. We are looking for an au-pair with at least 1 years’ experience in working with children. The au-pair must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. We are looking for a live-in au-pair who would like to be with us for at least 12 months. Our 4 year-old currently attends nursery Mon – Fri, afternoon sessions. From September he will attend full time. You will be required to work weekdays from around 7am until around 7pm. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. We live in Sutton (London) which is Zone 5 on the London travel map. It’s within easy and quick reach of central London with good transport links.
Au-pair responsibilities will include: • Preparing meals and snacks for the toddler and feeding the baby. • Putting the children down for naps • Changing nappies and clothing, as well as washing and drying clothes as required • Bathing the children • Playing with the children and taking them for walks, to the parks etc. • Reading to the toddler. • Nursery drop-off and pick-up. • Some cleaning and general housekeeping. • Two babysitting nights per month What we can offer: In return, you will be well treated, have full use of our large house and garden, and be treated as a member of the family. We will provide you with: • Your own double bedroom with space to study if you want to. • All your meals. Most of our meals are cooked fresh at home with the occasional take-away as a treat. • Mobile phone (for au-pair related matters). • Weekends off • Weekend travel card for you to explore London. • Wi-Fi (and household bills) • £700 per month
