I want to become an au pair because I enjoy working with children and contributing positively to their growth, learning and development. As a trained teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Education (Arts), specialising in English and Literature, I have developed patience, responsibility, creativity and communication skills through my teaching experience. I would love the opportunity to become part of a host family, support their children's daily routines, help with age-appropriate learning activities and create a warm, safe and encouraging environment for them. I am also excited about experiencing American culture, learning about a different way of life and sharing my own Kenyan culture and traditions with my host family. For me, being an au pair would be more than a childcare experience. It would be an opportunity for personal growth, meaningful cultural exchange and building genuine connections with a family while making a positive difference in their children's lives.
