My desire to become an au pair comes from a simple truth: I find genuine joy in helping children grow, feel supported, and thrive, while bringing reliable, warm support into a family's daily life. For me, childcare is not just a daily routine; it is an opportunity to build trust, share culture, and form a meaningful bond with a family across the world. What makes me uniquely prepared for this role is the depth and versatility of my hands-on caregiving experience across different ages and needs: Infant & Newborn Specialization (Infants to 2 Years): I provided full-time, hands-on care for my two nieces from the day they were born through their early toddlerhood. When one sister had a C-section, I stepped in immediately to care for both mom and baby, managing post-surgery recovery care alongside full newborn duties (feeding, soothing, hygiene, and developmental milestones). For my other sister’s natural birth, I provided continuous, loving daily care for two years. This experience gave me deep patience, strong instincts for infant care, and complete confidence in managing early childhood needs. International Nanny Experience (Aged 8 & 12): From December 2023 to April 2024, I worked as a professional nanny in Dubai caring for two girls. My role focused on structuring after-school routines, assisting with homework, managing activity schedules, and fostering creative, engaging downtime. I left the position only because the family relocated to the United States and could not cover the international transfer costs. Beyond childcare, I bring a well-rounded background that adds structure and creativity to my daily work. My experience in administrative support at Café Africa has made me exceptionally organized, punctual, and proactive in managing schedules and household logistics. Additionally, my background in fashion design means I love engaging kids in creative craft projects, hand-eye coordination games, and fun artistic expression. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, traveling, and cooking—and I look forward to sharing delicious meals and cultural exchanges with your family.
