Presentación personal
Hello! My name is Nayra, I am Mozambican and currently living in Portugal. I hold a degree in Legal Sciences and work as a paralegal in a law firm.
I consider myself a responsible, communicative, and patient person — qualities I have developed through both my professional career and personal experiences. About eight months ago, I started practicing jiu-jitsu, a sport that has taught me discipline, respect, and resilience. Alongside that, I volunteer at the Gil Association here in Lisbon, where I assist in jiu-jitsu classes for children with special needs. This experience has been very rewarding and has allowed me to practice empathy, patience, and dedication.
As the oldest of four sisters, I have always been surrounded by children and naturally learned how to care for them — something that truly brings me joy. I also have a great passion for cooking, keeping the house organized and welcoming, and helping with daily activities.
I would love to take part in this cultural exchange experience, as I see it as a wonderful opportunity to share and learn about new cultures, values, and ways of living, while positively contributing to the family environment that welcomes me.
My native language is Portuguese, but I understand and speak English at an intermediate level, which allows me to communicate and adapt easily to different situations.
I am an open-minded, calm, and enthusiastic person who enjoys new challenges and believes that every experience helps us grow and become better.
