Presentación personal
To my future family, nice to meet you :)
My name is Alison, I am a 21-year-old girl who finishes her studies last year, 2024. My family is from Ecuador and I was born in Madrid, Spain, where I have always lived, so I have grown up with two cultures. When I finished high school, I studied a higher degree in computer science called Web Application Development which ends in June. Regarding the topic of work, I have been a private teacher for 12-year-old children, helping them with Mathematics exams, since it is a subject that I like and I am good at.
I consider myself a positive, adventurous and empathetic person, kind, patient and decisive. In my free time, I like to go to the gym, it helps me clear my head and focus. I like outdoor activities. Making new plans is one of my goals this year. I like to learn new experiences. I also really like watching series and movies. I think my future family will have a great time with me.
Since my first trip to Ecuador when I was 3 years old, I have known that I love to travel and see many places. I love children, I have seen many grow up in my environment, and I have always gotten along well with them. One of the places that I have always wanted to visit has been New York; however, as I get to know a little more about the States, I am curious about several of them. These are the main reasons why I would like to live this experience.
Furthermore, the issue of English is a fundamental point. I want to be able to communicate better with this language since it is a very important language, and in my profession, it is also used a lot. I believe that you learn better in a country where the language is English.
I have taken care of children from 1 to 12 years old since I was 16-17 years old. They have been children of my family, like cousins, and some children of friends of relatives.
I am very excited to live this experience, I want to learn new things, the language, the people and their culture. I would be delighted to experience the local culture, take care of your children and adapt to your family. I want to thank my future host family for giving me the opportunity to be one of them.
Apart from all my previous experience taking care of children of friends and family, when their parents couldn't or wanted to go out, I currently work with several children, taking them to school or picking them up from some extracurricular activities.
