Dear host family, Hello! My name is Erin Atz and I am a 25 year old nurse from South Carolina, United States. I am looking for a family in/near Athens, Greece that needs some extra help this summer! A little about me - I graduated from Clemson University in 2019 with my Bachelor's in Nursing and have been a Registered Nurse in Chicago, Illinois for 3 years. Some other relevant experience I have includes nannying/babysitting (I have worked with infants up to age 12), lifeguarding, instructing swim lessons, and tutoring. In 2016 I started a tutoring program between my high school and a nearby low-income elementary school. During high school, I spent my summers lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons. During university, I spent my summers being a nanny. My responsibilities included light tutoring, arranging fun activities/excursions, and chores for family members. In 2020, before my nursing career, I was the nanny for 3 boys - twin 2 year olds and a 3 year old. I learned to manage caring for multiple children and the challenges that brings. I am certified in Basic Life Support and have been trained in Pediatric Advanced Life Support. I am leaving my current job as a Spinal Cord Injury Nurse in May to become a traveling nurse. Before I begin that career, I would love to spend the summer abroad to gain some life experience!
