Hi! My name is Marilyn and I am very excited to lend a helping hand to you and your family. I am 21 years old and have been nannying, babysitting, and working childcare for non-profit organizations since I was 12. Most recently I have nannied for one of my professor's daughters. I have been watching her since she was an infant and still babysit when I can. She is now two and a half years old and is my favorite part of my week. I also have experience taking care of kids of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I have a blast with kids and am still surprised that I get paid to hang out with them! I love their hilarious conversations and unique points of view, as well as their blatant honesty. I have a pretty good sense of humor and will do any number of ridiculous things to make the kids laugh. Additionally, I have 3 years experience teaching pre-school to a lovely little boy who has autism. This experience really helped me to be comfortable with approaching problems in unique ways. I am pretty flexible, but can be firm when I need to be. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I have a Texas driver's license and am eager to get a work visa so I can help you as soon as possible! I am about to graduate college (December 2016) with a bachelor's in science. I hope to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales, but want to take some time to explore while I am young and have fewer responsibilities. During college I have babysat and tutored to support myself.
