Persönliche Einführung
Being an Au Pair has become much more than just an exchange experience for me. After two experiences — my first one in the United States and my second one here in the Netherlands — I can truly say that being an Au Pair has changed my life and the way I see the world.
My first experience in the United States was the beginning of a very meaningful journey. I had the opportunity to experience a completely different culture, become more independent, face new challenges, and, most importantly, discover how much I enjoy being around children and being part of a family’s daily life.
After that experience, I decided to become an Au Pair again, this time in the Netherlands. I chose to do it because I felt that I still had so much to learn and so many new experiences to live. My second experience allowed me to grow even more, discover a new culture, and understand that every family, country, and experience is unique and brings something new into our lives.
Now, I would like to have a third Au Pair experience because I believe I still have a lot to learn, share, and experience. For me, being an Au Pair is not simply about traveling to another country. It is about cultural exchange, creating meaningful connections, becoming part of a family, and continuing to grow as a person.
Having already been an Au Pair twice has also made me more mature, responsible, independent, adaptable, and confident. I understand the commitment that comes with living with a host family and taking care of children, and I feel much more prepared to embrace a new experience.
I want my third experience to be another opportunity to share my culture, learn from a new family, create special memories, and make a positive difference in the lives of the children I care for. For me, being an Au Pair is about caring, learning, sharing, and growing together — and that is why, even after two experiences, I still feel excited to continue this journey.
