Persönliche Einführung

My name is Alexia, I am 18 years old, but I will be 19 at the beginning of my au pair experience. I am from Montreal, a large city in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is a bilingual city, so I am very comfortable speaking English, although my first language is French. I am a dynamic, cheerful, and sociable person who makes friends easily. I am currently studying International Relations in college, and I plan to continue my studies in Communications at university. Before starting university and truly beginning my adult life, I would love to have a rewarding and meaningful experience, which is why I want to become an au pair. I am passionate about traveling. My parents both love to travel and have given me the opportunity to discover several countries, which has sparked my curiosity about the world. Learning about a new culture and finding a new home abroad is something that truly excites me. I consider myself a resourceful, responsible, and independent person. I have been working since I was 14 years old and have done a lot of babysitting, so I’m used to taking care of children. I also have many cousins, ranging in age from 1 to 21 years old, and I love spending time with them, playing games, creating activities, and having fun together. After my au pair experience, I plan to attend the University of Montreal to study Communication and Politics, a field that combines two of my main interests. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature, being with my friends and family, going for a run or going to the cinema !
