Persönliche Einführung

Dear future host family, my name is azzahrah dewi safirah, but you can call me rara, i’m 20 years old, and i come from indonesia. i enjoy swimming, baking, and cooking. i grew up in a family of five, my parents, me and my two siblings. i would like to share with you my motivation for joining this program. my motivation becoming an au pair is because i’m really interested to learn about new cultures and experience european life, especially i’m interested to know about parenting in europe. i also love to learn a new language and i would love the chance to practice while living with the family. i’m also excited to explore the continent, like visiting historical landmarks, enjoying different cuisines, and experiencing the rich traditions across europe. for me, being an au pair is not only about seeing the world but also about sharing cultures, and becoming part of a family is truly grateful to build a connection and learn from each other. i would describe myself as cheerful, responsible, easygoing, and independent. i have experience with children from ages 0–12. i lived with my aunty for 3 years, i helped take care of her kids in their daily routines, like preparing meals, playing indoor and outdoor activities. i also taught them how to count, ride a bike, and basic english. as the first grandchild, i have 12 cousins from both of my parents’ side, so i truly have a lot of experience with kids. from these experiences, i really learned to be patient and creative. i really hope to match with a family who can treat me like a part of the family. i hope i can be a good sister for the kids and bring positive energy to the family. not only helping with daily life but also sharing culture and learning from each other. i believe this program will give me many experiences and lessons. warm regards, rara
