Persönliche Einführung

I am a university student wanting to work abroad over summer. I enjoy working with children and I was an au pair for a family in Barcelona in 2023. I have worked as a sports coach for children over summers before, so I have experience in teaching children. I am also an English tutor for children aged 7-18, some with learning difficulties. I have a big family with a younger sister and cousins, so I often look after them and spend time with them. I would love to be part of your family, assisting with whatever you need and learning from you too. This opportunity would help me gain more experience as well as helping your family to develop English speaking skills and raising your children with you. In 2023, I was an au pair for 2 months in Barcelona for a family with a 7 year old boy and a 5 year old girl, I taught them English, took them to the park, picked them up from school, and went on holiday with them for a weekend. This experience helped me to learn the Spanish language and culture and make a connection with the family that I will never forget! I also tutor English, Maths, Sociology and Media Studies online in the evenings, helping children pass their exams and build their confidence. When I was a sports coach, I worked with children from the ages of 4-14, helping them learn new sports, make new friendships and work with other children. some of the sports I taught them were football, badminton, dance, swimming. I enjoyed this because I was helping them to grow into more mature people. When I was an English mentor, I helped children read and write, sitting in their classroom with them and guiding them on how to pass their exams. I have a younger sister and lots of younger cousins who I spend a lot of time with, helping with their homework, picking them up from school and taking them to the park. I really enjoy working with children, as I currently work with them as a tutor and I find it very rewarding. My last experience as an au pair was so positive and I enjoyed it so much that I would love to do it again. This would help me to experience new cultures and learn from you and your family. It would also make me happy to help look after your children and know that I have made a difference in your lives. I enjoy learning and teaching and becoming an au pair would allow me to do both of these things.
