Persönliche Einführung

Hello ! My name is Xane and I'm 18 years old. I am French, I was born in a small town in Basque Country. I speak French and Basque: growing up with these 2 cultures helped me to become open-minded and curious about the different cultures in our world. I study anthropology in college but I would like to stop in order to discover a new country, a new way of life and learn a new language: I am convinced that this experience will benefit me in the future. I love listening to music (I'm a big fan of Taylor Swift), dancing (especially traditional basque dance), reading and walking (I am lucky to live near mountains and beach). I like discovering and trying new activities and creating new things. I always try to be optimistic, attentive and to have a watchful eye towards people and mostly those that I love. I am sure that life can be very fun if you share it with good people even if everything isn't perfect. I've always loved children: my grandmother was a nanny, and I remember as a child helping her with the babies, and when I was older, 14 years old, I did babysitting for the first time: I took care of my 3 cousins (8 and 5years old at that time) for evenings. As I grew older I started to do more and more baby sitting for other people, on occasional events or for the holidays. I also gave dance lessons (basque dance) for 8-9 years old girls for a year (I had to stop due to my studies, wich made me really sad). I always dreamt of travelling around the world and discover new cultures, and more precisely english-speaking countries because I love english and I am learning it since I'm 12. I am lucky to be part of a traditional dance festival for children, where I am guide, and where I can practice my english. Plus, it offers me the chance to discover different countries and their culture as Estonia, Slovakia, Germany, USA, Moldavia and Guadeloupe (even if it's not a country).
