Persönliche Einführung

Dear hostfamily, I’m Alice ,I’m 19 years old and I’m from Italy. I live in San Benedetto Del Tronto, a city in the center of Italy. It’s really a nice place because it’s a seaside town and it’s really calm . I’m an only child. I live with my mother and dad.My mum works in administration office of Japanese company and my dad is a photographer. Unfortunately we don’t have animals,but I have always wanted a cat but I’m allergic. Since I was little I have always played sports,in fact I started volleyball.I played this sport for 5 years,but at 14 I stopped playing because of the school.I really liked that sport and sometimes I really miss it because I wish I could play now. Speaking of passion and activity ,in the past I have also sang and I did scout for a year. I’m a dynamic person and I always want to change and to do different things.In fact when I was 12 years old I went for two weeks with others teenagers that I didn’t know In Ireland,in Dublin,in a college where we went to school in the morning and the rest of the day we did different activities.It was my first experience far away from home without my family and it helped me grown.It was awesome because there were people all over the world and because I improved English. I’m not worried about the challenges. About two years ago for a while I helped my mum’s friend with her children.During that period I found out that I enjoy children. At High School I did Linguistic High School where I studied 3 different languages (English,Spanish and German).I’m bad at scientific subjects.I chose this school because of Erasmus but with Covid we didn’t do any .But this episode didn’t stop me because during these years I continued to travel and I went with the school to Valencia ,Spain for two weeks last summer.This experience was different from Ireland because in Spain I lived with a family with 5 children and other girls from my school.It was good because we always spoke in Spanish.During the two weeks I worked for 6 hours everyday in a clothes shop in the center of Valencia,so there were a lot of costumers. Speaking of travelling I also travelled with my parents(Austria,Olanda, Germany, Swiss, Slovenia)these years and I also travelled with my Friends these two years,one time to Ibiza and this last September to Croatia. Well I can’t say that I didn’t travel but I’m always on search of different experiences so why not as au pair now? Improve languages , to know other culture living in a family , to travel and get out of my confort zone. By my future host family i'm expecting a second family and to became for their children their older sister.
