Persönliche Einführung
I'm Nadya from Jakarta, Indonesia, and I'll be 24 years old this year. I'm a college student majoring in Psychology. My hobbies include singing, cooking, reading, and playing guitar. I'm a beginner at learning Dutch and I talk in conversational English.
In this short letter, I want to share the reasons why I want to be an Au Pair;
1. I love children and enjoy sharing moments with them.
I have experiences of taking care of my brother's daughter (3.5 y.o.). I'm also close with my nephew (3.5 y.o.) and niece (1.5 y.o.) from one of my cousins, even though I've never got the chance to take care of them myself. But, I can assure you I can be and will always try to be a good babysitter due to my natural fondness of children.
2. I'm easy to live with.
I'm quite compliant to the rules and not a demanding person, nor a picky eater. I always do what I'm told as a part of my responsibility, as long as it doesn't go against my conscience and self-worth.
3. I'm used to live among people and environmental noise.
I used to live in a big household under one tiny roof; including my brothers, sister-in-law, and grandmother. I also lived with my other grandmother, cousins, and their families. I've been living beside a busy road in the heart of Jakarta, one of the busiest cities in the world. I can assure you that I have a good level of noise tolerance.
4. I speak English
I speak English with some of my friends, my mother, and my Dutch boyfriend. Thus, English is not a foreign language to me.
5. I'm interested in learning other cultures and languages.
I'd love to meet new people from other cultural backgrounds that I can learn from. Also, I'd like to polish my language skill in a real-time setting.
6. I'd love to find a family in a foreign country.
It would be very heartwarming to know there are people across the land and sea whom I care about and care about me as a family member, unreachable by hands but reachable by hearts.
Additions: I can swim, drive, and ride bicycles.
I really hope I can assure you with this simple short letter. I'm looking forward to be your family member. Thank you for reading my introduction.
Sincerely,
Nadya
