Persönliche Einführung

Hi! My name is Jessica Hutchinson and I am currently a Psychology student at Ulster University. I would like to describe myself as an open-minded, enthusiastic and motivated individual who looks out for everyone around me. My family mean everything to me and I feel extremely grateful to be part of such a close support network. My mother is a nurse and my father owns a pet wholesalers and distribution. I have a great relationship with my 15 year old brother who I spend a lot of my free time with taking him to our local shopping centre, the cinema and for long walks in the countryside as we both love the outdoors and adventure. I am also very close to my extended family of which I have six cousins under the age of 12 who I babysit most weekends for my aunties and uncles when I am not bartending. Although I receive payment for looking after the children, I do it due to my passion of caring for children and adore seeing them grow into young people with their own personalities and special attributes. I also have work experience with kids with additional needs. Although I am very close to my family, they have provided me with the independence and strength to live away from home for University for the past 2 years. In terms of my education, I attended Carrickfergus Grammar School of which I attained 1A* 4A's and 4B's in my GCSE's and A*A*B in my A levels. I was extremely pleased to receive an A* in my favourite subject Health and Social Care. I am now currently sitting at a First Class Honours in my Psychology Degree and hope to graduate in 2022 with this Honours. I would like to become an Au Pair and Nanny as I have a similar love for travel as I do caring for kids of all ages. I believe this is a great opportunity for me as I can immerse myself in a new culture whilst also doing what I love. I also love the idea, as cringeworthy as it sounds, of making new life-long relationships and creating a second family and helping parents in need raise their children with more ease by being able to work not only on their work life, but their personal life too, as I know how much I value my me time. In a few words I would describe myself as hard-working, courageous, determined and open-minded. As i am a very sociable and adventurous person, I like to spend my spare time hiking with friends and family and as an avid movie lover go to the cinema to watch new releases. Although I love immersing myself with others, I thoroughly enjoy my own time to myself. I like to spend this time consciously rather than passively and therefore enjoy practicing yoga, reading, writing on my blog or gaining business advice from online resources as I hope to one day own my own business and with a hint of resilience I hope I can achieve this goal. My other huge passion in life is cooking, I cook for my family everyday I am home from University and due to Covid-19 I have been at home for a long period of time and thus been cooking a variety of meals from all different cuisines. Aside from this, I thoroughly enjoy being active and therefore am part of my local hockey team and play for my district Netball team for 2 years coming.
