Persönliche Einführung

My name is Kerry Stephenson, I am 20 years old and have been an au pair in Denver, Co, looking after two gorgeous little boys of 1 and 3 years old for the past year. My year with my Denver host family ended in August and I am currently in California. I am able to start immediately. I come from a small university town in South Africa called Grahamstown. I lived in Grahamstown all my life until I was 17, when I moved to Dubai, UAE with my parents as my father got a job as a wildlife manager in Dubai. I finished my schooling there and in August 2014 I moved to Denver. I have 3 older brothers (a handful, I know!) Brad, who is 26, Ryan, who is 24 and then Dean, who is 21, so I am the youngest of a large family. My father, Alan and mother, Sandy (who is a university lecturer), have been married for 30 years and have provided a great grounding for me. I have always LOVED children! I started looking after children from when I was about 11 or 12 years old, starting with the children of friends and family, and then later being employed to babysit for anyone who asked! I have an American driver’s license and I have also traveled internationally on my own, including California and Washington in the USA and Borneo in South East Asia. In 2013 I completed level 3 first aid training (which is one step under a paramedic), obtaining 98%. During the past year I completed a course on early childhood development at Long Island University in New York as well as a course on American Language and Culture in Denver.
