Persönliche Einführung

Dear Family, Because my English is poor, a friend of my father’s has translated this letter for me. There are two main reasons why I wish to work as an aupair in the U.K. The first is because I wish to learn your language and to know more about British culture, the second is because I love being with children. Throughout my life, I have practiced many sports: swimming, dance, acrobatics, surf, wind-surf, horse-riding, volley-ball and basket-ball. Up till now, I have always lived in Brazil but travelled to France, on a regular basis, to visit my French family there. Indeed, my mother is Brazilian and my father is French. Five years ago, I started taking Taekwondo lessons and became passionate about this sport. I have participated in various championships in Brazil, sometimes winning, sometimes losing. Last year, I received my black belt and entered the official Taekwondo team of the Minais Gerais (the state where I lived). Thanks to my black belt, I was able to give Taekwondo lessons to children ageing 4 to 15 years and realized that I loved being and working with children. I find these beings to be incredibly imaginative, creative, truthful, honest and fun to be with.
