Hello *start date asap* We are looking for an engaged and responsible girl who loves children. We have two children; a girl aged 3 and boy aged 1. I work part time and my husband works full time. We are looking for someone to become part of our household and play an active part in looking after our children and some household chores/light housework. We look specifically for: Female, non smoker, minimum age of 19 years old. Experience of working with young children beneficial. EU or EEA origin. Our home is in a lovely part of London surrounded by parks with very good close transport links to central London - 20 minutes. (Home is located in between Wandsworth and Tooting Bec Common) There are lots of other au pairs in the neighbourhood, and facebook groups which encourage meet ups. We are a very easy going happy household who love to go sailing. We also enjoy having friends over for dinners and barbecues and love cooking and trying different foods.
Approx. 30hrs per week: A typical day is a mix of the following: help to prepare, supervise and clear up breakfast for children which will be from around 7:45-8:30, dropping off my daughter at pre-school 8:45am and pick up at 12. It is a 5 minute walk from our house on foot. Between 9 and 12 look after my 1 year old boy either take to playgroups, or park and possibly swimming. Some housework such as folding laundry, ironing, and vacuuming. Afternoons to the park/playground and helping with tea and bedtime We offer you a large and private, en-suite double room. Weekends off (except if we have asked you in advance to babysit and it works for you) and other times if pre arranged. Pocket money is a good rate. We look forward to hearing from you!
