We have three great, funny kids - one girl (7) and two boys ?(5 & 3). The older two go to school, the little one goes to preschool during the week. We are looking for an Aupair starting in September 2016. We speak a mix of English, Swedish and German at home and it will definitely help, if you understand some Swedish/German. We are based in a small town west of London (36 min by train). We love the outdoors, sports, music and enjoy cooking and baking together. We are looking for someone:?? - Positive, practical, very tidy, reliable, mature and who enjoys being with children and helping/pottering around the house.? - Has had experience and knowledge of looking after children. ?- Enjoys asking questions and discussing our children's behaviour and? achievements.? - Likes sport, playing an instrument, singing, dancing... - Can listen and observe; has common sense and a good sense of humour - Is happy to become part of our family for a year, join local children's? groups and socialise with other childminders, Aupairs, families, students etc.. ?- Is confident and happy to spend time on her/his own and explore the local? area and culture.? - Is keen to improve language(s), skill set and knowledge regarding young? children. - Has some knowledge of German or Swedish (apart from some English) - Has a European driving license We’d be very happy to help you find suitable language and other classes (e.g. new skills, crafts or childcare related).
These are the things you'd be doing: ?- Helping with morning routines.? - School/pre-school run; dropping off and collecting from ?clubs and play-dates. ?- Preparing light meals for the children when needed. ?- Playing (indoors and outdoors), reading, singing/making music,? baking/cooking, making things with the kids...? - Light daily housework (tidying up with/after children, emptying? dishwasher etc.).? - Very occasional evening babysitting.
