Dear Au Pair Hello. We are the Mugridges, there is myself, Emma, who is 40 and I work in Health and Social Care as a Bidding and Contracts Manager. I work from home so am around the house most of the time. There is Edd who is also 40 and he is a Building Manager. We have a 7 year old, Autumn who is strong willed and very lively. We also have a white fluffy dog, Nala and a cat, Parker. We are a hard working, busy family. We all muck in and help out and think we are a very fair and kind family who will help you as best we can. We live in semi-rural Cheshire, in Northwich. We are near Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Warrington and Knutsford
here are a few au pairs in the area which we will support you to put you in touch with. You will have a car to use. You will also have a phone. Every day life involves waking Autumn up at 7.30am, helping her to get ready, preparing her breakfast, eating together then walking her round to school. There would be some washing and ironing and loading and emptying the dish washer, putting out water for the cat and dog. You may need to walk the dog. You may like to go to the gym or go to college. At 3.15, you would pick up Autumn from school, walk her home, read with her, do homework, then make her her tea. You will spend time playing or dancing or having fun with Autumn. Some nights, Autumn will have a club, you would take her to the club and then pick her up. At 7pm, you would run the bath and get Autumn ready for bed, read her a story and say goodnight. It is so important that you spend time talking to Autumn and On a Friday, there would be three hours of cleaning the house. less Expectations We are looking for an Au Pair with a great personality for our strong willed (and fun) 7 year old, Autumn. Autumn is a very active girl with lots of friends and hobbies (dancing, drama, swimming, Brownies). We would like an Au Pair who cherishes children and wants to spend time playing with Autumn and helping her with her reading and homework etc. If you are not interested in spending time interacting and playing with Autumn, this job is not for you. You need to like spending time with Children. We also want an Au Pair who is self-motivated and naturally helpful with initiative who see needs doing and will help. We also need an Au Pair who is flexible, some days you may be required to do something additional, for example, walking the dog. We live in a semi-rural area, so being able to manage your own time is important. You may like to attend college or join one of the nearby gyms. We both work and Emma (Mum) works from home. Emma needs to go to London occasionally for an overnight stay, so on these days, you would be getting Autumn up and ready and taking her to school by yourself, we are a very walk from the school. This roles involves driving Autumn to and from her clubs. It also involves caring for Autumn during the school holidays and putting together a programme of fun activities for the holidays. In return, you will have your own phone, your own car and receive £90/week, this includes a £10 contribution to help with fuel for Autumn to get her to and from her clubs. You will have your own room with TV/DVD player and a bathroom.
