We are a young family with 2 gorgeous boys. We have a lovely persian cat, who is friendly and very cuddly. My husband is an accountant for the National health service and I am a special needs teacher (currently on maternity leave). We live in a 5 bedroom house, with a sunny garden and are lucky enough to be surrounded by the river Thames, Hampton court palace, Bushey park and Richmond park. James (my husband) enjoys DIY, IT, travelling, playing tennis and cycling. I like salsa dancing, painting, DIY, keeping fit, pilates and socialising. I (Mum) am very organised and a bit of a timekeeper. I like to have a varied program for the babies and enjoy going to the gym (where Oliver goes to a crèche), going to play groups, long walks, shopping and visiting parents. Everyday is different and I will try to help and do as much as possible with the babies myself. We are now looking for an au pair to replace our current au pair Irene, who has successfully found her dream job as a midwife in the National health service.
We would love an au pair who is friendly, conscientious, flexible, easy going, honest and responsible. We would like help with our babies most importantly. This is to include feeding the baby, changing nappies, washing bottles, taking a baby out for long walks, following a structured timetable, washing and putting away his clothes, reading stories, filling and emptying the dishwasher and helping him with his bedtime routines. Also to share other light housework chores. We would like to have 1 or 2 nights baby sitting per week. Also for you to join us for the occasional weekend away to Oxford and Muswell hill, so we can visit our families. You will of course, have some time to pursue your own interests e.g. sight seeing, language courses and socialising. Our Terms and conditions - We would like someone to start anytime between 20th March 2016 - 30th April 2016. - We will provide free accommodation and 3 meals a day - We will pay you £75 per week, based on a 5 day working week - You will get 2 days off in a week (These are to be agreed) - Oliver goes to a crèche about 2 to 3 times per week - we have a lovely South facing garden - We live in a beautiful area - We offer free use of bicycle because we do not have a spare car for to use (transportation in the area is excellent) - You will have a stay at home Mum/teacher to practise your English with. - You will have to pay for transport between your country and England. - Any holidays or time away are not paid for - Guests or visitors to the house have to be agreed with us in advance - Working hours are generally Monday - Friday 8am - 430pm plus help with cooking, laying the table or clearing away. - We expect you to help us with light housework chores including vacuum cleaning, washing clothes, making some meals, emptying the dishwasher - We would like one night of baby sitting at the weekend or during the week We look forward to hearing from you soon.
