We are looking for a reliable and honest au pair to start in the 1st week of September and able to stay with us for around a year. We have 2 children a boy aged 9 and a girl aged 6. Both children go to school full time from 8.30-3.15. Your main help with children will be after they finish school. There are days when children go to after school sports clubs. But the main daily task is usually their homework such as reading, writing and math. You have to be an organized person with genuine interest to manage 2 little persons to do their daily studying. Although homework is usually easy for an adult you need to have a relatively good English to understand and be able to help. As you will be spending day to day time with children we will appreciate a kind person with good manners and clear understanding what is right or wrong to do
Both me and my husband work shifts and have a very fast pace lifestyle. Everything is quite flexible in our lifestyle and good communication has been the key to our success. Therefore we need a girl who can continue to help support the smooth running of our family and home. You need to be flexible and able to manage your time around what help is needed within the family. Our au pair is mainly required to look after the children when we are at work. Drop them to school in the morning, help with small duties around the house, tidy up children’s bedroom, put away their laundry, empty dishwasher, etc. Pick children up from school at 3.15. Help them with their homework, or after school clubs. It would be a bonus if you could help to prepare some basic meals for kids or have an interest in learning about healthy eating. My son is diabetic so you will be required to give him all the necessary medication throughout the day. A normal week will be around 6 hours per day but occasional extra hours are to be expected depending on our schedules. You will have 2 days off per week.
