We are a fun family of five - two year old twin girls and a four year old boy, plus mum and dad. We love music, the outdoors, activities, food and doing lots of different things - bike rides, walks, trips to the park and socialising with friends and family. We hope that anyone who comes to stay with us will have a fun time and experience lots of things. Living in London there's lots to do and discover, but we live in a quiet area in a beautiful spacious house with garden which is a lovely get away from the busy streets of central London. We have Greek roots on one side of the family so love different cultures, the mediterranean, and Greek food. We are looking for someone who is calm, patient, polite and tidy, and who will become an integral part of our family. We'd like them to want to get involved in activities, games, teaching, just holding a child, and we would love to learn about that person too.
We are looking for someone to be an extra pair of hands with the kids. Key responsibilities include: Help in the mornings when getting everyone up and ready for nursery. Help in the evenings getting everyone ready for bed. Helping during the day when the children are not in nursery (they're in nursery 3 days a week). Help picking up from school from September if we are unable to get away from work on time. Help when going out to events/parties/trips/holidays. Tidying around the house - getting school bags ready, some washing up, putting toys away. Extra pair of hands looking after the kids for some of the weekend. Occasional evening babysitting. Help if one of us is unwell. Adhoc other help. We would not generally expect the au pair to look after all three kids on their own during the day, but if so rarely for more than an hour. They would usually be looking after them with a family member.
