We are looking for a friendly au-pair to become part of our family. We are very friendly, easy going, open-minded and happy family of 4 (2 kids), We are looking for au-pair to help us to look after our two lovely and well-behaved children: girl, aged 4; and boy, aged 6 (will be 7 in August). We would like you to be friendly, caring, responsible, happy & energetic, creative but also very well-organised. We would like our au-pair to have some previous experience looking after children, but not necessarily as an au-pair. Looking after children from your family is good as well. We need someone who can drive in order to take the kids to school. We will help to get you used to driving in the UK before you do go out alone. So don’t worry. You must be a non-smoker. You will have your own lovely and spacious bedroom with a desk and chair for your computer. There is TV and Wi-Fi. You will also have your own bathroom. Present – 20th July 2015 Working hours: 8.00-8.30am and 12.30 – 6.00pm 21st July 2015-2nd Sep 2015 Holiday – 8.00 – 5.30 (Spending most time when kids; plan activities) After 3rd Sep 2015 Working hours: 8.00-8.30am and 3.00pm – 6.00pm Main Duties: 1. Morning assistance if required; 2. Come with me to nursery and work for 8.30 and take the car back. 3. Collect Sofia up from Nursery at 12.30 (until 20/7/2015); 4. Pick Kristofer up from School at 3.15pm (on Tue 4.15pm) – you will need to leave the house by 2pm (parking); 5. Make sure Kristofer changes from his school uniform; 6. Spend time with Sofia and Kristofer (e.g. playing, drawing, learning, going to park, taking a walk etc); 7. Give children dinner by 5pm (ideally) 8. Make sure that children’s toys and play area are tidy (this includes the living room) – The children should tidy up after themselves but they need to be encourage and helped; 9. Make sure children regularly wash their hands (e.g. before eating and after they return from outside, etc.); 10. Basic cooking for children if and when necessary; 11. Keep kitchen area tidy (after kids and yourself); 12. Empty/fill up dishwasher; wipe work top table when dirty; empty all bins out once a week or if full; 13. Wipe dining table before and after meal times etc.; 14. Once a week (or if necessary) downstairs; 15. Dust livingroom 16. Make children’s beds every day and keep their bedroom tidy (but again please encourage them to tidy up their mess); 17. Wipe basin sink
