We need an ‘au pair plus’ for up to 40 hours/week who will look after our children and do light housework for our family. This includes light cleaning and ironing, cooking and clearing up after meals, and generally help us with things. Gabriella and Thiago's schools are a 15 min drive from the house. When they are at home you will need to assist with childcare and sometimes homework. Most importantly you must be pleasant and helpful, with plenty of initiative. You will need to drive our children every day, so you need to have a clean driving licence and good driving experience. We need someone who has a 'professional' attitude to life and is seeking to apply that to the au pair experience. We are a warm and caring family who are always looking to support our au pairs in any way we can, but equally we need someone who has initiative and is able to look after our children when we are not around. Sometimes Daniella needs to travel for work and knowing the children are well cared for is of absolute importance.
We are a fun-loving, active family with a busy lifestyle. Phil does tax law and Daniella works as a strategy consultant. We have two lovely children, Thiago who’s an energetic 6 year old boy and Gabriella a smiling nearly 4 year old girl :-) ...and our cat Max. We are a very clean, organised and tidy family who leads a healthy life style. We need someone who shares the same high standards of cleanliness, tidiness and punctuality, and is happy to have a healthy diet. Neither of us smokes and it is very important to us that our au-pair doesn't smoke. We live in a large, new house in a London suburb called Bromley. It is in beautiful countryside, but only takes about 15 to 30 minutes by train to the centre of London. There are two language schools in Bromley, both about 15min from our house. You will need to drive our children every day, so you need to have a clean driving licence and good driving experience. You will have your own bedroom, living room with TV and internet, bathroom and kitchenette with a microwave, which allows you and us to have privacy when we want it.
