Hi! We are looking for someone to help us look after our children.The children are cousins. You will be living with me and my son (my sister and her family live a short walk away). We are a happy, easygoing family. We are relaxed and like to have fun and enjoy ourselves. We are looking for someone warm, kind and responsible who loves being with children. You will be tidy, organised, creative and able to use own initiative. The house is 5 minutes from Lee train station and local bus routes and close to the local shops. Lee station is a 15 - 20 minute train journey to central London (Charing Cross, London Bridge, Waterloo). The room is a large, bright double room with plenty of storage space, a television, dvd player and wifi access. I am happy for you to contact my previous au pairs so that they can tell you about how life is with us.
Duties will include: - 30 hours per week + baby sitting 2 nights per week - Collecting children from school/nursery and looking after them in the afternoon until we return home at c.630pm - Cooking and preparing evening meals for the children - Organising and setting up activities and playing with the children. - Tidying up after the children and keeping their rooms tidy - Some light housework You will be required to work: Monday 3 hours Tuesday - 0745 - 0915 and 1500 - 1900 Wednesday 0745 - 0915 and 1500 - 1900 Thursday 1500 - 1900 Friday 0730 - 1830 Plus a maximum of two nights babysitting per week. The rest of the time is yours. We are offering £100 per week for the role plus four weeks paid holiday. We need someone able to start work by the beginning of March. Other requirements: - Non smoker only - Good level of spoken English - DBS check (if you are not checked then you must be willing to be) - Checkable references essential - Must be able to come for interview in person to meet with family - Full, clean driving license
