We are a family living in a lovely town called St Albans which is on the outskirts of London. I am Norwegian and my husband in English and as we are both working full time, we are looking for a lovely, caring, fun, responsible au pair to look after our 2 young children aged 2 1/2 and 6 1/2. We are looking for a Norwegian au pair, but could consider other nationalities.
We would expect that the au-pair undertake child care responsibilities Mondays to Fridays, however mainly 3 days per week as the children have other child care arrangements. We completely understand that the au-pair would like to make their own arrangements for the weekends, however on the very odd occasion we might ask for baby sitting duty on a Friday or Saturday night. We would also expect the au-pair to do light house work and to prepare the children's food. Most of all, we expect an honest and reliable au-pair who we can trust to take care of our 2 children.
