Our daughter has a good level of speech for a 3 year old so your spoken English should be good as she enjoys having conversations, and you should enjoy singing, music and dancing as she is very musical. A non-smoker is essential. We require someone easy-going, sociable and fun but reliable, responsible and punctual, who has had some experience of caring for young children this age and who is not fussy with food as we are from a mixed background (Moroccan and Indian) so we sometimes cook ethnic cuisine but enjoy all types of cuisine. Speakers of other languages are welcome but not essential and a driving licence is also a bonus if you have one, as you may need to drive on the job. Required till at least end September 2015 with potential to extend contract. You would be treated warmly and hospitably as part of our family and would have your own ensuite room with wifi access.
In mid February 2015 we will be moving to a 4 bedroom house which is 10 minutes from Preston Road station and very well linked to central London on the Metropolitan line. We require a live in au-pair to work about 35-40 hours a week. you would need to work approx. 9 hours a day on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Thursdays and weekends would be non-working days, during which you are free to pursue any other activities you wish (although sometimes you may be required to babysit on the odd Friday or Saturday night). You would be required to drop our 3 year old daughter to and from pre-school, look after her when she is home & do fun activities with her (playing games, singing songs, dancing, reading, art & crafts, baking and whatever other hobbies you can introduce her to), do some housework / cleaning when she is at school (e.g. vacuuming, ironing and keeping house clean and tidy), prepare meals for her/ do light cooking for the family and generally be a help around the house and with our daughter.
