Hi there We are a family of four from Epsom in Surrey which is in the south east of England and about 13 miles from London. We have 2 children, a 5 year old girl and a little boy who is 2. We would like to welcome an au pair into our family to help us with the children and to have a little extra help around the house. In return we would be really happy to offer our au pair a lovely home from which to explore the UK and improve their English! My husband's mother is Spanish (from La Coruna in Galicia) and we are keen for the children to learn a little Spanish as part of the exchange. I don't speak any Spanish but would love to learn (my husband has a really good level of Spanish and Italian)!!! We need someone who is flexible as every week may be different until I am back at work but we are happy to be flexible in return wherever possible! We need to find an au pair who is prepared to be flexible around our need for some help with the children and the house as I look to go back to work. We will always make sure that they are free to attend language classes and that they are working reasonable hours but the help and the timing of the hours may be different each week. During a normal week, we would need help with things like preparing the children for their day, school drop off and pick ups, some general care of the children after school (including the preparation of their evening meal) some ad hoc babysitting for our 2 year old when needed during the day and some evening babysitting. We have a cleaner so the house is cleaned once a week but we would like to find someone willing to help out with some of the general day to day chores and keep their own living areas clean and tidy.
