AU-PAIR NEEDED FOR 1st JUNE 2014!!! I am Ingun (I am Danish) and my husband is Greg (English) and we have a little son, Owen, who is 19 months old. We live in a place called Sale - just outside of Manchester itself, however we live 3 mins from the tram stop and it takes about 15 mins into Manchester city centre so it is very easy to travel. I start work as an Assistant Manager at Boots in the beginning of June and Greg is working for a marketing company in the centre of Manchester. We love doing things together as a family – we do things such as go swimming, go to soft play centres, the park, playgrounds, go visit places we havent been before, go for walks. In the summer we like to have bbq's in the garden, play football, go cycling etc. We are looking for someone who we can welcome into our family and who has a genuine interest in children and want to be involved developing and challenging our little boy as well as making sure he is happy. You need to be patient as well as flexible as some days we might be late back from work or something unexpected happens and then we do require you to step in and help out. You need to be able to take initiative and do things without being asked such as for example doing activities with Owen or making sure the house is nice and tidy :)
Duties: taking care of Owen when we are at work, taking him to activities and playing, cleaning, putting him down for his nap and feeding him etc. Some light housework is expected too, such as: keeping kitchen and house tidy and clean, including vacuuming and cleaning floors, loading and unloading laundry into washing machine, putting washed clothes away.
