Hello! We are looking for a cheerful and fun au-pair to join our family in Leatherhead, Surrey. We have two delightful daughters- a delightful 4 year old, and a very smiley 1.5 year old. They both go to pre-school/nursery 3 days, so you can have some morning/afternoons for studying or working. Kids are very well behaved and have good routines set up for sleep etc. You will have your own room with wifi, cable/TV, shared bathroom with kids, plenty of privacy and most importantly lots of love from us and from the kids. We will try our best to make you feel at home and always treat you as family. We live in a lovely village in Leatherhead, Surrey. The area is known for its beautiful countryside walks, and you can get to London by train in 40 minutes. I am a stay at home mum looking for an extra hand for help, we are an Indian family, we encourage the girls to speak in Hindi with us, but we would all be speaking with you in English and hopefully help you learn the language better.
The job will involve working for around 25-35 hours per week plus occasional babysitting. It will be a mix of housekeeping and childcare. In terms of childcare, I would love some help in morning and evenings when the kids are home, with getting them ready for school, some simple cooking, giving me a hand with feeding them dinner and bath. We love a clean house, so I am looking for a person who likes to clean and keep things organised. This will include light housework like hoover/mopping, clearing up kitchen and washing up after meals, laundry/ironing, making beds, keeping rooms tidy and clutter free.
