To start at the beginning of April 2017: We are looking for a live in Au Pair with excellent English to look after our 2 children Rufus (7) and Claudia (3). We live in a house in SW London (Fulham) and are close to local amenities, transport and the river. My wife and I both work, she designs shops and I work for a local private members club where you will also have access to the swimming pools and facilities with the children. We are looking for someone who is willing to swap some of their time and experiences with 2 wonderful children who are bustling with energy and enthusiasm for life. In return we are offering full accommodation of a double bedroom with its own kitchen, wifi and pocket money £80 per week and food.. You would share a bathroom with the children. We would also require 2 nights babysitting a week, sometimes on a weekend. Both my wife and I work full time and get home at 6.30pm.
The daily routine Monday to Friday would be as follows: Week day mornings - help to get the children dressed and prepare their breakfast. Get them ready for school and drop off Rufus and Claudia at school by 8.45am. Free time. 3.25pm. Take the children home for play / homework / dinner. There are some after school activities, swimming and drama classes so there may be few afternoons when they would need taken and picked up from classes. All of the activities and the school are within 15mins walk from the house. Evenings from 6.30pm would be free time and you would have the facility of your own kitchen. Some help would be required with Rufus's homework, more just making sure he does it! Weekends would be free time except for the occasions when we would require babysitting, but this is worked out in advance. We have a cleaner who comes once a week to clean the house, however you would be required to keep your own room and kitchen clean and also tidy up after the meals you have prepared for the children.
