We are a small close-knit family consisting of me, my wife and our lovely and only two year old daughter. We originally belong to India and generally travel there to meet our parents, in-laws, cousins and friends ones a year. We like good food, good movies, quality family time and traveling. We also enjoy outdoor activities and sports like swimming, badminton etc. We enjoy meeting people of different cultures and learning and knowing about them. To this end we enjoy traveling to different countries and we generally aim to travel to a foreign country ones a year. We expect our au pair to be someone who will be really loving and caring towards our daughter. We expect her to actively bond with our daughter who should be happy and enjoy her company. We expect the person to be part of our family just like a family member. We expect our au pair to share their culture, cuisine and language with us (if different from english). Finally we expect our aupair to do some cooking and some light housework.
Work will involve :- (1) Looking after our daughter who is 2 years and 7 months old - feeding her if required (sometimes she prefers eating by herself), changing her, making her meals (on days when her Mum has not made it possibly 3 or four days a week), playing with her and keeping her company in general with whatever she wants to do etc. (2) Cooking family dinner (just main course in any cuisine of choice as long as it tastes good) Monday to Friday for Mum, dad, baby and her. (3) Spending sometime during the day doing some general housework (possibly about and hour to hour and half) like taking the clean dishes out of the dishwasher (daily), putting the washed laundry out to dry (twice a week), hoovering floors (thrice a week), steam mopping (twice a week) and maybe dusting. This will be allocated in a way that it does not take more than an hour and half to do on any given day.
