I am a single mother of a 5 year old daughter. I work FT during the regular day time hours (8-5 pm). We have 2 cats who are well behaved, but au pair must not be allergic to cats. I do keep a clean house to ensure allergens are kept at a minimum. We are a laid back family environment and would welcome the addition of someone who can bring their own cultural experiences and values into our house. I strongly believe in the strength of exposing children to other cultures and how it helps to shape them and their futures. We have had a live out nanny in the past when my daughter was 3 mths - 2 years old that can always be contacted as a reference to how we are as a family if needed.
I'm looking for someone who can assist me with taking care of my daughter (primarily drop off and pick up at school and/or immediate after school activities; care of my daughter if she is sick; homework; cooking and feeding (we are not needing someone who is a gourmet chef, but someone who knows how to cook just small things); general house upkeep (very minimal) and occasional errands. Will primarily need someone during my work hours and commute times to and from work. Will need someone who can drive.
